SANG KANCIL

Sang Kancil ( mouse deer ) in English or tragulus pygmaeus in Latin really has many tricks.You may already have some collections of mouse deer stories.But many of them are victions.You may get them from the book of tales or from your parents.This one is really true and happened to me.Ockay,please follow the story below !
I once worked in oil palm plantation company in 1987.Its location was at Sungai Temidei village at Batanghari regency Jambi province.I was a headman at that time.One day,the workers and I myself wanted to spray the insects of oil palms.As the day was still morning,and the dew was still covering the top of grass and palms.So,it was impossible for us to spray them.According to the rule of spraying,we must spray the plants after the dew falls down.If not,the result of our works isn’t effective or doesn’t work well.

While waiting for the dew falling down,we were sitting on the long big log.Apparently,appeared Sang Kancil suddenly.It wasn’t  so far from us.Sang Kancil ran away and we ran after it.After running it for a long time,we couldn’t catch it.Unconsciously there was a wide river in front of us.And I thought it would stop running and gave up.But what happened ? Sang Kancil jumped into the river.I was so happy and thought that it had to be dead.But my mind was totally wrong.Afterthat,all of us couldn’t  see it anymore if it was still alive or dead.Because the river was full of branches of the trees.

It was more than an hour,where,we walked here and there on the spot.But what was the result ? We were hopeless.All of us regretted that we were really stupid.We could be defeated by a small creature of animal.But don’t look at the small one.Please notice from its ability.Yes of course,I do admire Sang Kancil.It really had many tricks and it was cute one!

The day was already late,we realized that our duty was to spray not to go hunting.Then,we did our tasks.And so on,what do you think of sang Kancil ?

TUKANG KAYU YANG CEROBOH

TUKANG KAYU YANG CEROBOH

Dahulu kala,ada seorang nenek tua yang miskin hidup sebatang kara di rumahnya.
Pada suatu hari,atap dapur rumahnya bocor tapi dia tidak bisa memperbaiki atap tersebut.Dia lalu
minta tolong dengan tetangganya yang kebetulan ia adalah seorang tukang kayu.Ia akrab disapa
dengan panggilan Abah.

Pagi itu,pemilik rumah pergi ke pasar dan membiarkan Abah memperbaiki atap sendirian.
Dia asik memperbaiki genting yang bergeser dari posisi yang sebenarnya.Tanpa disadari
kaki Abah menginjak kayu yang lapuk.Kayu tersebut patah sehingga Abah terjatuh dan langsung
kecebur ke dalam sumur yang cukup dalam.Abah meninggal dunia seketika karena tidak ada
orang yang menolongnya.

Sekembalinya dari pasar, pemilik rumah langsung menuju ke kamar mandi untuk mencuci
kakinya.Pada waktu ia hendak menimba air,ia sangat terkejut melihat Abah sudah menjadi mayat.
Ia kebingungan bagaimana caranya untuk mengangkat jasad Abah.Karena kehilangan akal  nenek tersebut menceburkan dirinya ke dalam sumur.
Sebagai akibatnya ia juga meninggal dunia di samping jasad Abah.

RENO YANG MALANG

RENO YANG MALANG

Setelah seharian  bermain bersama dengan teman-temannya,badan Reno  merasa lelah,capek,panas,haus dan lapar.Sesampainya di rumah,ia langsung menuju dapur untuk mengambil air minum dan makan.Nasi yang ada di dapur habis dimakannya.

Tidak lama kemudian,datanglah sang ibu menghampirinya.Begitu mengetahui nasinya habis,sang ibu langsung marah.Karena tak sedikitpun nasi yang tersisa untuk Rena yang sebentar lagi akan pulang dari sekolah.

Untuk melampiaskan kekesalannya,sang ibu tega memukul kepala anaknya.Merasa kesakitan,Reno menangis hingga terdengar

oleh para tetangga.Saya tak bisa berbuat banyak untuk menolongnya.Tapi batin saya hanya bisa berkata,”Kasihan Reno,malang benar nasibnya.Sudahlah kelaparan kena pukul pula.”Hal ini sesuai dengan pepatah lama,”Sudah jatuh ketimpa tangga pula.”
